2025 in Review: Our Renovations
Why does the end of each year feel the most reflective? It seems to be a time for gratitude, review, and looking forward to what the future will bring.
We’d like to participate in this honored tradition by taking a look back at some our most memorable renovations from 2025.
Refined Lakefront Transitional
Winner of the 2025 Best One-of-a-Kind Home Remodel WNC Stars Award, this full renovation entirely transformed the family’s vacation lake home.
There were multiple intentions of this renovation: the first was creating a legacy recreation home for future generations. These clients desired a functional, family-oriented retreat, emphasizing spaces for gatherings, play, and lasting memories. To maximize the fulfillment of this wish, five bedrooms with waterfront views, a children’s bunkroom with six bunks, lower-level living and entertainment amenities, three decks, and an outdoor deck were all included in the renovation.
The second intention of the renovation was to ensure the home endures environmental conditions- a retained foundation wall, elevated structure for flood protection, and durable materials throughout were added.
The result is a resilient, inviting home that supports active family lifestyles while adhering to strict waterfront building codes.
Chestnut Addition & Renovation
Rejuvenation and wellness were heavily prioritized throughout this renovation. Showcased first is the stunning screened porch addition. Expansive windows crafted for the birdwatching enthusiast homeowners overlook breathtaking views of downtown Asheville. A thoughtfully designed and expanded deck extends the living space, providing a private oasis for relaxation with a premium hot tub, perfectly positioned to enjoy the scenic surroundings.
The bathroom transformation is next, and certainly is unforgettable- a dated primary bath was transformed into a serene, spa-like sanctuary. Porcelain countertops, a striking custom glass accent, intricate tile patterns, a floating bench, and artisanal light fixtures infuse warmth and character, all while the large window keeps the connection to nature.
This project exemplifies how premium materials, innovative design, and meticulous craftsmanship can transform a home into a timeless masterpiece.
Secondary Living Suite Transformation
Newlyweds recently moved into this home and wanted to make it their own through customization.
This renovation featured the conversion of their two-car garage suite into a master bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, and office.
The existing bonus room above the garage was converted to a large office. The powder room and laundry room were converted to a full-size bathroom.
Custom-built wall shelves and sidelite casement were added, maximizing the suite’s storage space.
The result? A renewed space with an abundance of functionality and charm.
