On June 7th, Buchanan Construction celebrated 20 Years of Excellence at Green Mountain Farm in Hendersonville, a beautiful 20-acre working farm with a charming event barn. The summer evening brought together our team, their families, partners, and clients for a memorable night of fun and reconnection.

The highlight was a heartfelt message of gratitude from Rick Buchanan as he remarked over the last 20 years; of ups and downs, significant projects and the people who made it all happen – the team.  The message was preceded with a little bit of fun led by Jeff Hendrix, Buchanan’s first employee and custom carpentry leader, who emceed a video tribute.  In a touching surprise, the team, with help from Rick’s wife, Jessica, presented Rick with thoughtful gifts: a team gift basket, a live-edge charcuterie board engraved with messages from Rick’s late parents—whose values of integrity, professionalism, and quality shaped Buchanan—and a signed NC State basketball and Michael Jordan jersey, both signed by Roy Williams, a friend since Buchanan built his family home.
