What to Expect

Guests visiting the Idea House will check-in first at the below address, in Biltmore Park Town Square.

53 East Schenck Crest
Asheville, NC 28803

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your Idea House tour reservation. To support the safety of all guests and ensure the best possible experience of the Idea House, we limit the number of guests per reservation time. Guests arriving more than 30 minutes prior to or after their reservation time are not guaranteed immediate entry.

From the check-in location, guests will enjoy a short (7-10 minute) trolley ride to the Idea House aboard the famous Asheville Gray Line Trolleys! After enjoying their tour, guests will board a Trolley to return to the check-in location. Parking at the check-in location is free.

Asheville Gray Line is taking extensive steps to ensure the safety of our guests, including; strategic boarding procedures, limited capacity seating with social distancing measures, and sanitization of the trolleys after each trip. Gray Line trolleys are open air trolleys with “curtains” which remain open for improved air flow in all weather permitting circumstances.
